Account and Data Deletion – ReelNature
How to delete your account in the app
- Open ReelNature
- Go to Profile → Delete account → “Permanently delete account”
- Confirm the deletion
After deletion, you can sign in again with Google at any time (a new account will be created).
If you can’t access the app
Send an email to support@reelnature.de
- Subject:
Account deletion - Include: the Google email address used to sign in (or your UID if known) and your username (optional)
We delete accounts requested via email within 10 days.
What will be deleted
- Your account (Firebase Authentication)
- Your profile data (e.g. display name, avatar)
- Your private catches/trips and related data
- Your uploaded images stored for your catches
- Your ranking/season stats linked to your user
Public content
If you shared catches publicly, this content will be removed as part of the deletion process.
Retention
Some data may be retained for legal and security reasons for up to 30 days (e.g. abuse reports, audit logs).

A) In der App löschen (empfohlen)
- Öffne ReelNature
- Gehe zu Profil → Account löschen → „Account dauerhaft löschen“
- Bestätigen
Hinweis: Eine erneute Anmeldung mit Google ist danach wieder möglich (neues Konto).
Öffentliche Inhalte werden im Rahmen der Löschung entfernt.
B) Falls Nutzer keinen Zugriff mehr haben
E-Mail an support@reelnature.de
- Betreff:
Account deletion - Anzugeben: Google-E-Mail des Kontos oder UID (wenn bekannt) sowie Username (optional)
Löschung innerhalb von 10 Tagen.
Was gelöscht wird
- Account (Firebase Authentication)
- Profildaten (z. B. Anzeigename, Avatar)
- Private Fänge/Trips und zugehörige Daten
- Hochgeladene Bilder (Catch-Fotos) im Storage
- Ranking-/Saison-Statistiken, die dem Nutzer zugeordnet sind
Retention / Aufbewahrung
Einige Daten können aus rechtlichen oder Sicherheitsgründen bis zu 30 Tage gespeichert bleiben (z. B. Missbrauchsmeldungen, Audit-Logs).
